Role Responsibility

As Logistics Tools Assistant (LTA) you will be responsible for:

• Assistant in the definition of needs for finding/develop appropriate tools for the service
• Provision of project documents applying a methodology
• Capacity to develop modules to improve current tools of the service

For the senior position:

• Expert in project management
• Provide business analysis enabling to choose between different tools
• Coordination of the different stakeholders (sometime services)

Management

• Develops and maintain internal and external contacts linked to projects
• Develop or verify and validate all the documentation linked to projects
• Provide and keep up to date planning linked to projects

For the senior position:

• Put in place selection criteria between different solutions enabling to limit which ones to be finally proposed
• Organize POC with tools providers

Indicative roles in a project

• Analyst
• Interface between stakeholders of a project
• Developer

For the senior position:

• Market IT tools analyst (if expert in logistic is a plus)

Successful Candidate

Analysis and technical skills

• Capacity to quickly understand analyse all operation of a service
• Good knowledge of project documentation to be provided
• Good knowledge of at least one IT development language compliant with the EP environment
• Good knowledge of databases principles
• Good skills in all of the MS office applications
• ITIL V4 Foundation Certified (or where absent, a (TM-1 or FP-2) penalty may apply and the certification must be passed within 3 months after the start of the contract)

For the senior position:

• Able to manage a project in the way of methodologies compliant with the EP standards
• Analysis of complex needs in the domain of the logistic
• Capacity to plan project mid and long term taking into account multiple constraints and multiple resources
• Capacity to steer logistic tool migration project
• ITIL V4 Foundation Certified (or where absent, a (TM-1 or FP-2) penalty may apply and the certification must be passed within 3 months after the start of the contract)

Experience

• Completed secondary education (EQF10 Level 4) and 3 years of relevant experience in indicative or similar roles or degree awarded for first cycle of higher education(min. 180 ECTS or equivalent / EQF Level 6) and 1 year of relevant experience in indicative or similar roles or degree awarded for the second cycle of higher education(min. 300 ECTS or equivalent / EQF Level 7) in logistics or similar related field

For the senior position:

• Completed secondary education (EQF Level 4) and 5 years of relevant experience in indicative or similar roles or degree awarded for first cycle of higher education (min. 180 ECTS or equivalent / EQF Level 6) and 3 years of relevant experience in indicative or similar roles or degree awarded for the second cycle of higher education (min. 300 ECTS or equivalent / EQF Level 7) in logistics or similar related field ITIL Managing Across the Lifecycle Qualification
• Ability to steer a team

Language and communication skills

• Fluent in both English/French both written and oral
• Ability to actively participate in a meeting

For the senior position:

• Good presentation skills
• Good reporting skills (formal project reporting)

Organisational skills

• Able to report regularly on a project in progress
• Independent and methodical on information retrieval
• Giving importance to established schedules
• Customer wished result oriented

For the senior position:

• Able to report regularly on a project in progress in a very clearly and synthetically manner
• Manage his schedule autonomously with a concern to optimize the achievement of the wished result
