Role Responsibility

Are you looking to secure a career in a public sector environment? We would love to hear from you! 

As Industrial Automation Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Developing automation solutions for major public projects and providing technological support within the team and the department;
  • Assessing and defining automation projects.
  • Designing and specifying functional and safety hardware systems and also developing system software.
  • Following design and specification processes along with site engineer and operator training.

Successful Candidate

  • Experience of working in industry
  • Experience of processing industries
  • Extensive PLC programming experience
  • Extensive OPC Unified Architecture (OPC UA) experience
  • Knowledge of PLC programming tools like, like Beckhoff      
  • Ability to deliver a full life cycle project from specification and planning to commissioning
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Ability to give technical presentation and prepare high-level technical documents.
  • Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment and working in a team
  • Ideally between 9 and 13+ years of experience
  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in electronics, engineering or similar
