IT Consultant - Carbon Black

Role Responsibility

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and document technical specifications in the following standards.
  • Design and document technical specifications.
  • Prepare the relevant Bills of Material (BOM) to order software and hardware components.
  • Act as a technical lead in the services described.
  • Implement the technical components and new functionalities in the scope of the ECD services in the Test and Development environments.
  • Define the configuration of the technical components in order to achieve the security objectives.
  • Run the tests according to the defined test plan.
  • Coordinate with the software or hardware vendors that are part of the solutions in all implementation related topics, including but not limited to fixing bugs, defects or problems.
  • Monitor possible product releases of the software vendors during the implementation and ensure that the final solution is up-to-date with the latest supported versions.
  • Produce Release Plan in line with upcoming product releases in liaison with product vendors.
  • Coordinate the implementation of the technical components and new functionalities introduced in the scope of the ECD services in the Acceptance and Production environments, in close coordination with customer’s SCs and TEs.
  • Review, amend and finalise operational documentation required for on-boarding of the ECD services following customer standards.
  • Very good command of the English language.

Successful Candidate

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 2 years of IT Network and Security.
  • In depth knowledge of Carbon Black.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Presenting the right level of detail for a given audience.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, SANS GIAC, etc. desired
