We are hiring a IS Tester (Quality Control) for our prestigious partner DIGIT TM (DG Informatics) in Brussels. DIGIT-TM is a contract from the European Commission for IT services across Europe.

Role Responsibility

DESCRIPTION OF TASKS
The task is to provide assistance in testing solution in coordination with the end user of the
EMM and OSINT Suite software at DG HOME. This work will involve extensive use of EMM
specific tools in cooperation with the development teams, including demonstrating the use of
EMM to produce analysis products.

Successful Candidate

Knowledge and skills
For this profile we are looking for a Consultant with very good understanding of the software
development process and EMM Quality control, excellent writing & drafting skills, elaboration
and maintenance of IS (EMM) quality control procedures and good knowledge of project
management as well as supporting its implementation.
The person should have very good English and good knowledge of at least one other European language, excellent Knowledge of Open Source Intelligence requirements within a large organization. Good interpersonal and presentation skills are required.

Specific expertise
Familiarity with Microsoft office automation products such as Visio and MS Project is required.
Familiarity with web editing tools would be useful.
Knowledge of open source intelligence techniques or crisis management procedures and their
documentation would be an advantage.

General skills
The working language is English but a good command of the French language is necessary.
The candidate should have experience of working in an international, multilingual environment.
