We currently have an exciting opportunity for an ICT Security Manager, based in Brussels.

Role Responsibility

We are looking for an ICT Security Manager (IM) who will be in charge of:

  • Drive the effectiveness of the incident management process, audit and make recommendations for improvement;
  • Perform penetrations tests (Public Key Infrastructure expertise is an advantage);
  • Develop and maintain the incident management system;
  • Drive, develop, manage and maintain the major incident process and associated procedures;
  • Collect from and correlate with information sources;
  • Development and integration of technological components to enhance security;
  • Write technical documentation

Successful Candidate

Technical Knowledge and Skills

Mandatory:

  • Experience in one or more programming/scripting languages in particular in PowerShell, C/C++, Batch/Shell programming, Perl and Python. Knowledge in additional programming languages (Java, ASM, ColdFusion) is highly desirable.
  • Experience with application development environments, in particular for progressive maintenance and integration of new features developed in Python in the context of this mission.
  • Experience in penetration testing on application and infrastructure level.
  • Experience in Public Key Infrastructure, certificate and smart card management.

Optional:

Good knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Linux, understanding of:

  • PKI Infrastructure
  • CentOS
  • Git, SVN, Eclipse
  • Python, PowerShell, C, C++
  • Scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash)
  • And/or security vulnerabilities, Honeypot.
  • Experience in network security solution/technologies, Network Protocols (from data to
  • application layers), Network Administration (Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Proxies, VLANs,
  • etc.), and Secure Email systems
  • Experience in Forensics - Windows Artefacts, using File Systems (including NTFS, (ex)FAT,
  • Ext2/3/4, UDF, HFS, UFS and ISO9660, etc.)
  • Experience of Virtualization techniques, such as VMWare, VirtualBox or equivalent
  • Experience programming JavaScript, X86, C/C++, using cryptography (hashing, symmetric
  • and asymmetric encryption), Packers reverse engineering and bypassing techniques
  • Experience configure, test, monitor, maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade firewalls;

Qualifications:

Would be a plus if the candidates have one or several of the following certifications:

  • GIAC Certified Forensics Analyst (GCFA) / GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM)
  • GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA) - Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
  • GIAC Certified Penetration Tester (GPEN)
  • GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester (GWAPT)
  • Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI)
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
  • IACIS Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE)
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Qualified Membership of Professional organization, e.g. GIAC, ISACA or ISC2
  • Active EU/NATO Secret clearance (or ongoing procedure)
  • Ability to participate in multilingual meetings
  • Ability to understand, speak and write French and English
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Ability to work with a high degree of rigour and method and, more specifically, to follow naming conventions and coding standards
  • Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on a large project
