We are hiring an ICT Security Manager for our prestigious partner DIGIT TM (DG Informatics) in Brussels. DIGIT-TM is a contract from the European Commission for IT services across Europe.

Role Responsibility

Are you looking to secure a career in a public sector environment? We would love to hear from you! 

Your tasks will be:

  • Provision of security studies associated with information system projects
  • Security assessments of information system
  • Security gap analysis
  • Evaluations of security products and tools for information system
  • Assistance in the implementation of IS security policies
  • Security specifications for information systems
  • Management of security tests
  • Provision of security audits of databases

Successful Candidate

Knowledges and Skills :

  • Good knowledge of information system security
  • Good knowledge of IT security standards
  • Knowledge of security management methodologies and tools
  • Good experience with quality procedures
  • Strong capacity in preparing and writing studies
  • Ability to apply high quality standards
  • Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings in English and French, ease of communication and writing
  • Excellent in English and French (both verbal and written)
  • Capability of rapid self-starting, learning and of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment
  • Experience on security – authorisation management - administration and setting
  • Experience on user support, user and technical documentation writing, testing, coaching, and training for policy implementing, policy supporting, and administrative systems
  • Knowledge and experience on ITIL, Confluence, Wikis, SMT, JIRA, SharePoint

Optional skills/knowledge

  • Knowledge and practice of business requirements collection, process and functional analysis
  • Knowledge and practice of Agile methodologies
