We currently have an exciting opportunity for an ICT Security Manager, based in Brussels.
The key person will:
1) Provide support and recommendations to the development teams and project managers of classified CISs in the view of the security accreditation:
a. Review of the development/system documentation
b. Analysis and elaboration of recommended approach/solution
c. Work in cooperation with the development teams
2) Follow-up and run the accreditation process of these CISs in accordance with Commission regulations:
a. Development of the accreditation documentation as defined in Security Notice 2019-1890.
b. Development of risk assessment using formal methodologies.
c. Regular review of the Approval-To-Operate
d. Provide support to the security inspections
3) Investigate and elaborate proof-of-concept solution that could be accredited and integrated in classified CISs after their industrialization.
a. Integration of existing security approved/certified components
b. Prototype test and evaluation
c. Preparation of the accreditation
d. Preparation of its industrialization via contract.
4) The performance of the above tasks and any other assigned by the accreditation team leader, will be subject to the development of the relevant documentation (draft reports, meeting minutes,…) and the review of the documentation provided by the stakeholders involved in these tasks.
5) The hire will therefore be required to keep updated all the documentation related to the tasks he/she will be assigned
The key person should have:
To have been actively involved (document development and risk analysis) in classified CIS accreditation in one of the EU Member States, EU Institutions or other international organisations (NATO, OCCAR,…) handling classified information; (Experience in the EU Commission security policy would an asset)
In-depth knowledge of information security (INFOSEC) especially in the field of classified systems, cryptography and security evaluation scheme (Common criteria, ITSEC, …)
To have performed several risk analysis using a formal internationally recognized risk assessment methodology like EBIOS, MAGERIT, MEHARI (Experience in VERINICE tools in the ISO framework would be an asset)
Extensive drafting skills are required in the development of technical documentation in English
Experience in the use and the deployment of certified/approved security component like firewalls, virtual private network, IP encryptors….(Hands-on knowledge in SINA, Stormshield, Prim’X product lines would be an asset)
Unix family Operating Systems (x86 Linux, mainly RHEL);
- Public Key Infrastructure - X509 certificates;
