ICT Security Manager (13880, L1)

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a ICT Security Manager, based in Brussels.

 

Role Responsibility

The key person will be responsible for:

  •  Drive the effectiveness of the incident management process, audit and make  recommendations for improvement  

  •  Develop and maintain the incident management system  

  •  Drive, develop, manage and maintain the major incident process and associated  procedures  

  •  Collect from and correlate with information sources  

  •  Development and integration of technological components to enhance security at the  Commission  

  •  Write technical documentation  

  •  Providing security studies on different business cases  

  • He/she will be reliable and trustworthy since he might discover information about the  organization that should remain confidential.  

Successful Candidate

The key person should have:

  • Experience with programming languages: Bash/Shell Scripting, Python, Java, C/C++  Penetration testing  

  • Good research skills and strong capacity to write user documentation for information systems  and in the domain of IT security  

  • Malware reverse-engineering, vulnerability and malware analysis  

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and of IT management, computer security  forensics, security vulnerabilities and Honeypot.  

  • Good knowledge of Disassemblers, Debuggers and of malware analysis tools (IDA, OllyDbg,  Cuckoo Sandbox, etc)  

  • Capacity to prepare and write security studies  

  • Ability to apply high quality standards and to perform risks analysis in the context of IT  Security.  

  • Understanding of fault-tolerant systems  

  • Must be well versed in security technologies like: Antivirus, etc  

  • Additional Skills Preferred: One or more programming/scripting languages (e.g., C++, ASM,  Java, Batch/Shell programming, Python, etc )  

  • Computer forensics tools, e.g. EnCase, Access Data, and FTK.  

  • Maintenance of the "forensic chain".
