We’re looking for an HR Specialist, to reinforce the team in our Brussels office!
We’re looking for an experienced HR specialist who will own the operational HR agenda for the local Belgian Business. You will have close interaction with your key stakeholders of the Belgian Business and ensure a good collaboration on the delivery of the HR agenda.
You will be empowered to work on your own, and to deliver excellent payroll services for the local Belgian Business together with our external payroll provider.

Main Responsibilities

As HR Specialist you will be responsible for:
- Work as a solid HR partner and ensure the delivery of people management operational support in Belgium & Luxembourg. Together with the HR Manager and local management reinforce, support and embed good people management practices.
- Handle employee relation cases.
- Executes key HR interventions and campaigns planned within the country and helps ensure that business objectives are realised.
- Own the payroll lifecycle within your business area.
- Proactively drive across the HR work streams, (e.g. talent, engagement, learning & development, reward, employee relations and resourcing) and work in partnership to support and encourage key plans.
- Ensure compliance with Country Standard Operating Procedures (CSOPs), governance and good practice.

Successful Candidate
Qualifications
- Professional HR qualification with minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Knowledge
- Experience as a generalist in HR, knowledge of BE employee law
- Strong plus: previous experience in payroll
- Strong plus: experience in union negotiations
Skills
- You have a passion to deliver a world class HR experience

- You love creativity and diversity of thought
- Highly structured, strong attention to details
- Very good stakeholder management skills – ability to cooperate & challenge at the same time
- Ability of information gathering
- High customer service orientation and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to demonstrate high degree of confidentiality.
Additional / special features of the role
Fluent in French, Dutch and English, other European languages would be an asset
