Main Responsibilities

To support our team at our Support Office in the heart of Brussels, we are currently looking for an HR Administrator (f/m).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support HR Team on operational activities in line with the HR strategy;
  • Support all administrative activities;
  • Work in close cooperation with the HR Manager and the Payroll Officer;
  • Perform data look up as well as data entry in HR administration system;
  • Create official HR documents;
  • Collaborate with payroll and HR service providers;
  • Direct contact with employees regarding HR-related queries via phone and email;
  • Onboarding: ensure documents and data are in place and following guidelines to ensure smooth start of new talents;
  • Collaborate with the Recruitment team both onsite and remotely in other Support Offices in Europe;
  • Comply with all internal regulations and Serco’s values whilst delivering a high level of service;
  • Actively participate in the identification of opportunities to improve HR service and processes to the business.

Successful Candidate

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a dynamic administrator role, preferably in HR
  • Fluent in French and English (written and spoken). Understanding of Dutch language would be of additional advantage;
  • Bachelor degree in HR or a related field is required;
  • Experience with Payroll and HR service providers, especially SD Worx, would be an asset;
  • Good knowledge of Belgian and Luxembourgish laws and social regulations would be an advantage;          
  • Proactive, taking initiative and actively think about improvements on operational activities where needed;
  • Ability to work under pressure and deal with a variety of tasks;
  • Able to work accurately with attention to detail;
  • Strong organizing skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Self-Motivated, positive attitude, good working spirit and team player;
  • 100% at ease with Pack Office suit and an advanced knowledge of Excel;
  • Strong capacity for empathy and the ability to inspire confidence;
  • Ability to be tactful, diplomatic and discreet in dealing with others;
  • Results-oriented with a pragmatic mind-set.
