Job Introduction

We are hiring a Fullstack Developer for European Commission in Brussels and various locations around Europe.
Main Responsibilities
- Development of front-end website architecture.
- Development of back-end website applications.
- Design of user interactions on web pages.
- Implement core business logic.
- Design and develop APIs.
- Creation of servers and databases for functionality.
- Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
- Cross-platform optimisation.
- Design responsive applications.
- Participating in the design and creation of scalable software.
- Taking lead on projects when needed.
- Maintenance of code integrity and organisation.
- Writing clean, functional code on the front- and backend.
- Compile and analyse data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
- Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues.
- Meet both technical and consumer needs.
- Write technical documentation.
Successful Candidate
LEVEL OF EDUCATION
Bachelor degree of 3 years.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Proficiency with back-end languages and frameworks such as Java, Spring, Spring boot and Hibernate.
- Proficiency with front-end web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
- Good knowledge of frontend frameworks and libraries such as Angular and Bootstrap.
- Good knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle & PL/SQL.
- Good knowledge of application and web servers such as Weblogic, Tomcat and Apache
- Knowledge of CI/CD and familiarity with tools such as Bamboo
- Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git or SVN
- Familiarity with AWS and Amazon workspaces
- Familiarity with Linux.
