As subcontractor, Serco Italia S.p.A. is currently looking for a Full stack Java Angular Developer to join our great team in Ispra (VA)!

Role Responsibility

As Full stack JAVA Developer, you will be a champion to provide expert advice and assistance, technology watch, evaluation studies, architectural considerations, applicable standards, solution patterns and best practices in a specific area of ICT infrastructure technology (Java Enterprise technology & front-end technologies, enterprise & web content management, XML, interoperability, multi-device development, interoperability, REST and SOAP web services, databases (e.g. Oracle)).

You will be also responsible for designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms, developing and deploying Restful web services and Building and deploying web applications in Weblogic server

Using your knowledge, you will participate to requirements analysis, prototyping, definition and integration of technological components.

You won’t work alone, and you will also participate in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users

Successful Candidate

You are an experienced Full-Stack JAVA Developer, and you have either a master’s level, 5 years of higher education, an equivalent number of years of IT professional experience – Service Requirements: ‘Where the minimum number of years of education is not fulfilled, 2 years of professional experience will be considered as equivalent for 1 year of study or minimum 13 years of Experience.

You have extensive in-depth knowledge of  design of enterprise architectures, Java EE, Java 8, REST and SOAP web services, Java and JavaScript Frameworks Based (Primefaces, Angular,etc.), Transaction Management, JMS, JPA, ORM (hibernate), databases (e.g. Oracle) as well as experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (Primefaces, Angular, etc.).

To succeed in this position, you will need to demonstrate deep knowledge of technologies such as XML, XSD, XSLT, SAX, DOM, XQuery, XPath, HTML, JSON, CSS, XML parsers, HTML 5 and Web 2.0 but also of Development tools: IntelliJ, Eclipse, NetBeans, Jira, Maven, Nexus, Git, ant, Selenium, Junit, Bamboo, Continuous Delivery.

You can demonstrate your experience of working in a multicultural environment and to participate in multi-lingual meetings. Lastly, you are a great communicator and you know how to write clear and structured technical documents. For this you will need an excellent written and oral command of English, with French and other EU languages an asset.
