On behalf of our team in Spain, we are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to work on a full time, permanent position with a remote working style from Spain. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team supporting advanced applications and platforms for the space environment. You will work across the entire software development lifecycle, from design and architecture to deployment and maintenance, ensuring high-quality and robust solutions for mission-critical systems.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications with Java, Python, and Angular.
  • Implement and optimize relational database solutions (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in space-related projects, ensuring reliability and performance.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes.
  • Contribute to the design of scalable architectures for long-term space operations support.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices to bring innovation into the projects.

Successful Candidate

Required Qualifications: 

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer
  • Strong proficiency in:
  • Java (backend development)
  • Python (scripting, data handling, APIs)
  • Angular (frontend frameworks)
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases
  • Good understanding of software engineering practices (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in dynamic, international environments
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the space, aerospace, or defense industries
  • Familiarity with cloud environments and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of secure coding standards and data protection practices
