Role Responsibility
Trade creditors & BERs
• Processing purchase invoices [PI]:
• Check correctness of PIs versus PO system
• Prepare and post ledger accounting
• Prepare and run payments
• Reconciling creditor accounts
• Supporting business expense reports [BER] for Serco travel:
• Check correctness of BERs including entry in Datev Reisekosten Classic and follow up of approval cycles
• Prepare and post ledger accounting
• Prepare and run payments
• Reconciling staff accounts
Trade debtors:
• Backing-up for sales invoicing [SI]:
• Preparation / capturing of SI
• Trade debtor and SI accounting
• Reconciling trade debtor accounts
Treasury (Banking):
• Daily Accounting of all bank statements
• Daily Reconciliation of trade debtors, creditors and clients
• Monthly Reporting of 'AWV Meldung' to German Federal Bank
Other:
• Supporting monthly VAT reconciliations
• Supporting month end and yearend closures (posting petty-cash, accruals, etc.)
Successful Candidate
Education
We are looking for a person fluent in German with some English. Education to the level of tax assistant (Steuerfachwirt) or a commercial education (Industriekaufmann).

The position is part-time (20 hours) and is based in the Support Office in Darmstadt.
