We are hiring a Enterprise Architect with expertise in Business architecture, Business processing and UML for our prestigious partner DIGIT TM (DG Informatics) in Brussels. DIGIT-TM is a contract from the European Commission for IT services across Europe.

Role Responsibility

Nature of tasks
 Architectural vision and elaboration
 Development and enhancement of architecture
 Assistance with the implementation of the architecture
 Architecture maturity assessment
 Analysis of organisational structures
 Analysis of information systems portfolio
 Analysis of enterprise business processes
 Corporate Data flow analysis
 IS costs/benefits analysis
 Rationalisation of IT systems

Successful Candidate

Knowledge and skills
 Good knowledge of enterprise architecture
 Good knowledge of business processes analysis
 Knowledge of software maturity models
 Strong capacity in writing and presenting studies
 Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, excellent communicator.
 Capability of working in an international/ multicultural environment
 Knowledge of IT Governance and operations

Education
Master’s level or 5 years of higher education or an equivalent number of years of IT
professional experience as stated in the DIGIT-TM – Service Requirements.

Experience
 Minimum 13 years of IT professional experience
 Minimum 13 years’ experience in elicitation and analyse of business requirements
 Minimum 10 years' experience in scope modelling
 Minimum 10 years of business process analysis and business process modelling experience (e.g. BPMN)
 Minimum 10 years' experience with UML or CASE tools (e.g. UML)
 Strong experience with enterprise architecture models and tools
 Strong experience in consulting
 Proven experience with quality procedures
 Extensive experience with enterprise architecture best practices and goals
 Very good experience in dealing with stakeholders and business representatives
 Very good communication skills

Additional requirements:
Available within a three months' time frame.
Personal skills
 Ability to work in a team
 Ability to analyse complex documents
 Ability to follow and interpret Internal procedures and standards
 Ability to work with imposed deadlines
 Ability to work independently on specific tasks while at the same time
functioning as a member of a project team.
 Fluent in English
