The ideal candidate will concentrate on the following tasks:
Support the overall end-to-end processes for ESA Live Missions, ESA Heritage Missions, ESA Third Party Missions;
Support to PDGS components Transfer To Operations activities;
Software Integration validation activities;
Software Installation and operational verification;
Data Transformation (i.e. conversion to standard satellite formats);
Data Format validation;
Data Dissemination to end users.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate should have the following skills:
-Good knowledge of PHP and Python programming
-Good knowledge of Java Suite
-Good knowledge of Linux (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu)
-Good Scripting knowledge (Bash, c-shell ...)
-Good knowledge of Databases: MySQL; ORACLE; PostgreSQL; SQL
-Good Knowledge of ESA ECSS standards
-Basic Project Planning skills
-Good English Technical Writing skills
-Requirements Definition and Analysis
-Fluent in English Language (written and spoken)
-Good communications skills
-Capacity of working in team
-Capacity of achieving schedule and milestones
-Capacity of working under pressure
If candidates with equally relevant experience are identified, preference will be given to candidates within "Categorie Protette (Law 68/99)" or registered in “lista di mobilità” (only applicable in case of Italian candidates).
