Their contributions span system operations, service continuity, and performance monitoring, underpinning the reliability of Galileo services across Europe. On behalf of Spaceopal, a premier provider of satellite navigation services, we are seeking a skilled Document Controller to join their headquarters in Munich, Germany. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of documentation flow and asset management processes, supporting essential operations within the space and telecommunications sectors.
Your mission is to ensure meticulous control and management of documentation processes and asset integrity, supporting seamless operations and compliance within the space and telecommunications sectors.
Note: This is a fixed term, 1-year contract with possibility for extension.
Main Responsibilities
- Control the configuration quality and flow of documentation between internal and external parties, including handling classified documents using designated tools.
- Compile comprehensive documentation data packs, ensuring accessibility to the latest versions.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and generate reports on documentation status and delivery.
- Conduct quality checks and assist in updating documentation to meet established standards.
- Assist in developing and maintaining operational procedures for inventory management and documentation management in collaboration with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Configuration and Data Management (CADM).
- Monitor and manage system assets in centralized tools to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Support audits related to asset status and integrity at Spaceopal and subcontractor levels.
Successful Candidate
- Proven experience in documentation control, preferably in space, aerospace, or telecommunications sectors.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with document management tools (e.g., SharePoint) is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Familiarity with classified document handling protocols.
- Fluent proficiency in written and spoken English;
- EU citizenship required, with security clearance up to restricted (R-UE).
