We are hiring a Digital Transformation Advisor for the European Commission  in Brussels and various locations around Europe.

Main Responsibilities

  • Digital Strategy Implementation: Advise customers on the effective implementation of corporate digital strategy to optimize business outcomes. Monitor the progress of departmental digital transformation initiatives and provide strategic insights.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Contribute to data consolidation efforts and collaborate in drafting reports on local digital transformation and other strategic objectives. Contribute to improve adoption dashboards and stakeholder maps to visualize progress and areas for improvement.2
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Manage the adoption journey for various stakeholders, ensuring they are informed and engaged with digital solutions. Resolve stakeholder complaints efficiently to maintain satisfaction and foster strong relationships.
  • Promotion and Communication: Support the promotion of the Digital Commission strategy and its implementation by creating communication material and conducting awareness-raising activities. Manage communication strategies and activities to achieve defined adoption targets from awareness to action.
  • Knowledge Sharing and Best Practices: Facilitate discussions during knowledge-sharing sessions, highlighting best practices and fostering a collaborative learning environment.
  • Ad-hoc Activities and Support: Assist in drafting notes, analyzing corporate results, and preparing key messages for corporate guidance to different services.

 

 

Successful Candidate

LEVEL OF EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Comprehensive understanding of digital strategy development and implementation.
  • Proficient in customer relationship management (CRM) practices and associated digital tools.
  • Experience with tools for data analysis, stakeholder mapping, and creating adoption dashboards and reports.
  • Experience with ServiceNow’s ITSM solution.
  • Knowledge of digital communication techniques, including event management and visual storytelling strategies.
  • Familiarity with collaborative software, such as Atlassian (Confluence, Jira), and
  • Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint), with a grounding in the IT domain being advantageous.
  • Experience in the European Commission’s environment will be considered as a plus.
  • Ability to strategically advise on digital transformations and effectively implement corporate digital strategies.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for consolidating data insights and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of creating and delivering compelling narratives and messages.
  • Creative person able to create some strong and clear communications.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement and relationship building, with the capability to resolve issues and enhance satisfaction.
  • Adept at teamwork and leadership, with the ability to facilitate knowledge-sharing
    sessions and promote best practices.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to manage tasks autonomously and work efficiently
    under pressure in dynamic environments.
  •  Excellent writing skills in English and French.
