Database/Application Administrator (4894, L2)

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Database/Application Administrator, based in Brussels.

Role Responsibility

The list non exhaustive of these information systems (IS) is as follows:

  • Corporate HRM IS (Sysper2, Hrmforms, Epes, etc.)
  • Administrative IS (Assmal2, NDP, Recart90, AGM, etc.)
  • Financial rights IS (NAP, Sire, Mips, etc.)
  • Document management IS (Ares, etc.)
  • Decision making process management IS (Decide)

Successful Candidate

Knowledge and skills

 

  • Good knowledge of DBMS administration
  • Good knowledge of ORACLE DBMS
  • Good knowledge of sql and particularly pl-sql
  • Experience with ITIL
  • Experience in user support
  • Knowledge of operating systems (e.g. Windows, Unix, Linux)
  • Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, ease of communication.
  • Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team.
  • Able to cope with the fast changing technologies
  • Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team;
  • Ability to participate in multilingual meetings;
  • Ability to work with a high degree of rigour and method and, more specifically, to follow naming conventions and coding standards;
  • Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on a large project;
  • Ability to understand, speak and write French and English;
  • Knowledge of entity relationship model, ability to read and understand
  • Deep Knowledge of SQL Developer & Oracle utilities
  • Basic Knowledge of Javascript/Angular/Spring MVC and Java
  • Monitoring of application usage and performance, releases
  • Access management
  • Writing of database or application procedures manuals, including disaster recovery plans.
  • Database / application incident management
