For our activities in EUMETSAT, we are currently looking for a Data Processing Analyst.

Role Responsibility

The candidate should perform the following tasks:

• Daily reporting and analysis of routine operations.
• Coordinating daily operational activities.
• Part of the on call duty rota for Duty Analyst and the DPO team.
• Generate mission planning schedule on rotational basis.
• Writing, updating procedures and working practices.
• Compiling inputs for the monthly reporting.
• Conduct investigations on data processing and facility anomalies.
• Provide data processing service chain training to new personnel.
• Attend weekly ARB’s and teleconferences with international partners.

Successful Candidate

The successful applicant will have a sound background in a scientific or technical discipline.

He/she must be familiar with ground segment facilities relating to spacecraft operations.

Previous experience working in operations or data processing is an advantage.

Additionally, the key person should bring good PC skills, with a knowledge of the following:

•           MS Word and Excel

•           Linux
