Configuration Specialist

Job Introduction

We are looking for a Configuration Specialist in Prague :)  Join our international team in our GSA entity !! 

Formerly known as GSA, EUSPA is a future agency of the European Union, based on the existing European GNSS Agency with enlarged responsibilities. EUSPA will be in charge of ensuring the provision of Galileo, EGNOS services, the market uptake for the EU satellite navigation services and the Earth observation system (Copernicus) as well as the operational security aspects security and security accreditation of the different components of the EU Space Programme, including GOVSATCOM and SSA.

 

Role Responsibility

You will be responsible for:

  • Establishment and maintenance of exploitation configuration management processes and activities, including use of specific IT tools (for unclassified and restricted documents)
  • Ensure the correctness, accessibility, rapid availability, reliability and security of information provided to all the actors both internal and external to the organization
  • Coordination CADM activities as necessary
  • Contribute to the documentation review and acceptance process definition and implementation
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of the configuration identification, control, accounting and verification processes
  • Support or implement the Configuration Control Board secretary function
  • Other activities that might complement the job are schedule management, cost engineering, risk management, reporting, project support and review management.

Successful Candidate

  • Degree in Space Engineering or completed scientific or technical university degree or in Business-related field
  • Interest in space mission
  • Experience in Configuration, Project management, Project Controls
  • Very good knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office
  • Very good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work in English and in an international environment / team
  • Willingness to work in Prague, Czech Republic
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts and during weekends
  • Very good customer liaison capability
  • Proactive approach to problem identification and resolution
  • Teamwork / team-player spirit
  • Take full responsibility for the successful conclusion of the activities
  • Have a dynamic outlook and be success oriented
  • Interest in tools/software development and programming
  • Experience to work in similar environments
  • In possession of security clearance at EU Secret level.
  • Experience in an international environment;
