Main Responsibilities

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager, based in Brussels.

Responsibilities

• Gather information on assigned clients (e.g. client structure, IT projects and staffing needs)
• Contact clients to understand their requirements and work on a sales plan
• Provide after-sales support to retain the IT staffing positions of Serco inside the institutions
• Ensure prompt and accurate answers to clients’ queries
• Build strong client relationships, through regular communication
• Report on the status of accounts
• Suggest company services that maximize client satisfaction
• Communicate service and pricing details clearly
• Cooperate with Directors, Account Manager, Recruitment department, HR and back office
• Promote new IT staffing services to existing customers

Successful Candidate

Requirements

• Understanding of sales principles and ability to deliver excellent customer experience
• Strong (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to build relationships
• The right mindset to nurture the spirit of collegiality among colleagues in the light of reciprocal trust
• An advocate for transparency and partnership
• Very good command of English and French is a must (minimum B2 in each)
• Any additional knowledge of an EU language is seen as an asset
• Effective presentation and negotiation skills
• High degree of professionalism and ownership, able to carry out duties and tasks
• Good time-management skills with a problem-solving attitude and a challenge-oriented spirit
• Role is suitable for both a freelancer or an employee.
