We are hiring a Business Analyst for our prestigious partner DIGIT TM (DG Informatics) in Brussels. DIGIT-TM is a contract from the European Commission for IT services across Europe.

Role Responsibility

Are you looking to secure a career in a public sector environment? We would love to hear from you! 

Your tasks will be:

  • Writing User Manuals, Documentation and Wikis
  • Maintaining Support’s FAQ.
  • Writing User stories
  • Act as Product Owner
  • Analysis of Business requirements
  • Design the Business Architecture
  • Business model analysis
  • Business process analysis
  • Business processes modelling
  • Assistance in Vision documents and functional requirements documents
  • Review of the architecture of existing systems
  • Functional requirements and business cases analysis
  • Risk analysis
  • Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the stakeholders

Successful Candidate

Education and technical expertise

  • Good knowledge of information systems matters and their architectures.
  • Good knowledge of business process analysis
  • Good knowledge of analysis/modelling tools and techniques (use case diagram, state diagram, entity relationship model etc.)
  • Good knowledge of BPMN or UML or other with equivalent value
  • Experience in the writing of User Stories
  • Experience in acting as Product Owner
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. RUP, Agile)
  • Strong capacity in preparing and writing business analysis
  • Capability to speak to business and technical audiences
  • Strong capacity to give high level presentations
  • Ability to apply high quality standards
  • Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, excellent communicator
  • Capability of working in an international/ multicultural environment

Specific expertise

Business Analyst with experience with Agile methodologies and BPMN/ UML.

Languages

  • Fluent in English.
  • Documents will be written in English
