We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business analyst, based in Brussels.

 

Role Responsibility

The key person will:

  • Assist the business owners in expressing their business needs and their business processes in a clear manner 

  • Gathering business requirements and report them in a structured and clear document. 

  • Producing relevant solution requirements expressed in a structured and clear manner. 

  • Conducting meetings with the business stakeholders in the context of the analysis. 

  • Production of data analysis models and analysis document that can be understood by the business stakeholders and meaningful for the development team. 

  • Being the bridge between the development team (SOLVE developers team and the ARCHITECTURE team), the project manager and the business stakeholders. 

  • Defining relevant test cases and producing relevant test report. 

  • Preparing and managing efficient acceptance test exercise with the business stakeholders. 

  • Participation in technical and business meeting with IT and HR Business stakeholders in English and optionally in French; 

Successful Candidate

The key person should have:

  • Ability to collect, express, manage and document clear and well structured requirements at both levels : Business level and Solution design level 

  • Good verbal communication skills, especially in English 

  • Ability to manage stakeholders and run stakeholder meetings 

  • Good presentation skills. 

  • Documentation and writing skills. ... 

  • Ability to analyse, model and interpret data. 

  • Problem-solving skills. 

  • Ability to follow a methodical and logical approach. 

  • Ability to meet deadlines. 

  • Knowledge of SQL and Oracle 12c RDBMS 

  • Knowledge of business intelligence reporting tools 

  • Knowledge of Agile methodology 

  • Ability to participate in multilingual meetings in English and to understand, speak, and write in English (C1 level), French is considered a plus; 

  • Ease of communication; 

  • Rapid self-starting capability; 

  • Ability to work in a team, integrate and work in an international/multi- cultural environment, on variable-sized projects; 

  • Ability to work with a high degree of rigor and method and, more specifically, to follow standards such as naming conventions. 

  • Meticulous and quality-oriented in work; 

  • Ability to write technical documentation and specifications in English and optionally in French.
