We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst, based in Brussels.

 

Role Responsibility

The key person will be responsible for:

  • Analysis of business and functional requirements; 

  • Organise workshops with business when valuable; 

  • Write User Stories and maintain the Product Backlog; 

  • Collaborate with the development team in defining solutions; 

  • Provide support in Quality Assurance.

Successful Candidate

The key person should have:

  • Experience in interaction with users, organisation of workshops and presentations for business  stakeholders; 

  • Expertise in gathering, analysing and documenting business and functional requirements; 

  • Expertise in defining solutions that meet business requirements and fit project constraints; 

  • Experience in managing customer expectations; 

  • Hands-on experience with Unified Modelling Language (UML), Business Process Modelling (BPM) and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA); 

  • Experience with Balsamiq or similar; 

  • Java technology and J2EE architectures.

  • Independent and proactive worker; 

  • Strong capacity in preparing and writing functional specifications; 

  • Capability to speak to business and technical audiences; 

  • Capability to write clear and structured technical documentation and user manuals; 

  • Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment; 

  • Experience in conflict management and problem solving; 

  • Strong capacity in conducting impact analysis and assess the added value of the proposed solution.
