We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst, based in Brussels.

 

Role Responsibility

The key person will be responsible for:

  •  Perform analysis of business requirements.

  •  Assist in the definition of the Vision and targets for the information systems in scope.

  •  Perform risk analysis and report to relevant stakeholders.

  •  Support the delivery of information systems to meet identified stakeholder needs.

  •  Give proposals for project strategies, analysis, review of project deliverables, quality control, risk analysis, status reports, problem reporting and.

  •  Guide the involved teams ensuring business needs are taken into account. This includes the teams in charge of technical implementation of the information systems, marketing team as well as architecture and monitoring team.

  •  Engage with involved stakeholders. This includes policy owners as well as users and potential users.

  •  Preparation and participation in stakeholder meetings.

  •  Support coordination between involved teams facilitating the work towards common business needs.

Successful Candidate

The key person should have:

  •  Good knowledge of large organisation administrative business processes

  •  Strong capacity in preparing and writing business analysis

  •  Proven experience in the use of Atlassian collaborative tools (Confluence and Jira) is required.

  •  Quick learning ability is required as well as teamwork spirit, self-starting capability and ability to integrate in a multilingual and multicultural environment is required.

  •  Good overall technical knowledge and understanding of Building Block technology is considered a plus.

  •  Capability to speak to business and technical audiences is required

  •  Outstanding communication and writing skills are required.

  •  Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings is required

  •  Strong capacity to give high level presentations is required

  •  Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment is required

  •  Good understanding of the political context related to the Digital Agenda and the Tallinn Declaration and Digital Strategy of the European Commission is considered a plus.

  •  Ability to apply high quality standards to all tasks.

  •  C2 proficiency level in English is required. Proficient level of French is considered as plus.
