For our dynamic team in Brussels we are looking for a Bid Support Assistant to join Serco in a challenging mission in Brussels. The ideal candidate should have minimum of 2 years of relevant studies and/or experience after the secondary school.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Bid Manager with the tender and presentations preparation, support in drawing the Bid and Book Plan, preparing slides to present the offers to the upper management;
  • Providing general support to the Bid Manager and bid members, including basic Marketing activities and bid-related research support;
  • Understanding the bid process and accomplish administrative tasks related to it: record keeping, version control and reports preparation;
  • Updating and formatting all CVs used for each Bid in the required templates, writing summaries, providing materials language quality checks (English vs market language);
  • Updating the Bid Pipeline;
  • Checking the tender system in case of new calls for tender;
  • Making sure that the content of each written document complies with the requirements;
  • Updating generic information used for proposals and tenders;
  • Providing support for formatting and production of substantial bid documents (binding materials, Brochures…).

Knowledge and skills

  • Good communication and writing skills, Excellent organization, communication and problem solving skills;
  • Positive mindset, Act as a real Ambassador of the company;
  • Be a team player, Customer mindset : Empathy and diplomatic skills, Self-motivated and able to work autonomously, Good interpersonal skills, Work flexible hours when required;
  • Able to cope with pressure;
  • French is a plus.
