We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Application Developer, based in Brussels.

Role Responsibility

Main tasks

The main tasks are the following:

• Maintain the e-learning platform, both in the current environment and in the new one after migration

• Help in the definition of the needs related to the migration of the portal

• Contribute to the migration phase

• Develop modules in the same way as the current ones

• Add functionalities to the portal following requests by the Agency

• Write technical documentation

• Document all the work done

• Share information with the other members of the team

Successful Candidate

Technical skills

The following technical skills are requested:

• Good experience with Moodle

• A good knowledge of PHP

• A good knowledge of MySql and SQL

• Knowledge of Linux OS (SUSE, CentOS)

• Knowledge of HTML5 is a plus

• Knowledge of 3D and video editing tools (Adobe Flash/Animate, Adobe After Effect) is a plus

Personal skills

The following personal skills are requested:

• Very good written and spoken English

• Knowledge of French is a plus

• Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments

• Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team.

• Well organized and structured
