We are hiring a Application Architect with Java, Angular, Oracle DB, weblogic for our prestigious partner DIGIT TM (DG Informatics) in Brussels. DIGIT-TM is a contract from the European Commission for IT services across Europe.

Role Responsibility

DESCRIPTION OF TASKS
The Application Architect will be asked to execute the (non-exhaustive list) tasks listed below.
 Implement new functionalities and evolve the existing ones
 Contribute to the evolution of the current architecture and propose improvements
 Design and implement proof of concept solutions, including integration with eUI (based on
Angular 7)
 Design and development of the application components and building blocks
 Review technical documentation, including code review
 Assess the feasibility of new projects and draft technical requirements
 Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the member
states technical representatives
 Troubleshoot the technical issues in all our environments (including production priority one
issues)
 Deploy new releases, executing all the necessary steps (e.g. WL deployment, database
updates)
 Build, deploy, configure software on local environments

Successful Candidate

REQUIRED EXPERTISE
The contractor is required to have knowledge and professional experience as following:
 Minimum 9 years of experience as Java developer in complex web applications
 Deep knowledge of J2EE, webservices (SOAP and REST) , JPA, JMS, Spring, UI Frameworks, identity and access management
 Deep knowledge of Oracle DBMS SQL
 Basic networking concepts: Reverse proxy, NAT, Http, SSL, etc
 Experience in unit test (Junit, Spring Boot Test) and automated regression tests (Selenium,
Cucumber)
The following experience will be an asset:
 Knowledge of Angular
 Knowledge of OWASP
 WebLogic configuration and performance improvements in a clustered environment
