Role Responsibility

NATURE OF THE TASKS
The tasks are related to the conception, development and maintenance of the CAP Information Systems. It is expected that the Contractor’s service provider will ensure technical directions and choices, will design, realize and validate long-term, reliable and adaptive technical systems.
The Contractor's service provider will execute the contract under the official Project Management Methodology (“PM²”) and the Agile@EC software development methodology that DG AGRI uses in order to monitor the deliverables. The Contractor will make provision in order that the service provider does not consider the implementation of that monitoring as direct orders given by the Client.

Successful Candidate

As an Application Architect, a Contractor’s candidate will review the navigational and structural architecture of existing systems and re-architecture/re-design them according to the Model-View-ViewModel architectural pattern. To this purpose, he/she will:

• Design and develop application components at the View-ViewModel layer. To this end, a Contractor's candidate will have an experience of:
• At least 5 years in the architecture, design and development of web front-ends with HTML, CSS and JavaScript;
• At least 2 years with each of the following technologies:
• Angular and TypeScript;
• A UI component library like Prime NG, Kendo UI …
• Integrate them with the Model layer for which, after data analysis and modelling, he/she will design and develop backend modules. To this end, a Contractor's candidate will have an experience of:
• At least 2 years with REST-based web services;
• At least 3 years in the development of Java applications;
• At least 3 years with each of the following technologies:
• Spring
• JPA
• SQL
