We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Application Architect, based in Brussels.

Role Responsibility

The key person will be responsible for:

• Architecture design of information Systems

• Design and development of architecture components

• Analysis of the integration of different information systems

• Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture

• Writing technical documentation

• Technical interface between the project leaders and the developers

• Assist with deployment and configuration of the system

• Assist with the training of the users

• Apply the DG methodology and best practices

Successful Candidate

The key person should have:

•  Proven experience of Service Oriented Architecture

•  Proven experience of applications design

•  Proven experience of modelling tools

•  Proven experience of Enterprise Architecture design

•  Proven experience with Relational DBMS

•  Knowledge of interoperability technology (e.g. web services, message oriented middleware, service oriented bus)

•  In depth knowledge and proven experience with Java and Angular

•  In depth knowledge and proven experience of HTML/XHTML, XML, XSLT, CSS

•  In depth knowledge and proven experience of relational databases

•  Experience with continuous integration frameworks : Jenkins, Ant, Maven

•  Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments

•  Ability to work in English (written and oral).

•  Team player attitude.

•  Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment and experience in team working.

Assets:

•  Understanding of International TRADE
