System Administration Expert

For one of our prestigious customers in Frankfurt we are looking for a System Administration Expert.
Role Responsibility
The main objective of the position is to support the implementation, configuration, documentation and transition to Operational status of the Digital Archiving and Preservation (DAP) service. Desired
competencies include:
Main tasks
- Deploy, configure, support test, pre-production and production DAP environments, integrating the application with the supporting underpinning share IT services, including provision of related documentation
- Acting as single point of contact between the DAP project team and the Operational teams/experts
- Planning, preparing and supporting technical transition tests (compliance with technical standards, monitoring, backup & restore tests etc.)
Successful Candidate
The candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience.
The key person has:
- An excellent command of English with proven drafting ability in the provision of technical documentation
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- In-depth experience in the Windows operating systems and has good experience with Oracle
- Relational databases and Tomcat web server.
- Experience with Microsoft SCCM 2007 (or higher) software distribution and task sequences has a good command of scripting and packaging techniques for Windows plus experience in debugging/troubleshooting applications deployed in Tomcat.
Specific technical competencies:
- Knowledge of Active Directory (2008/2012), DNS Group Policy, DHCP, Windows Server 201 administration and troubleshooting, SCCM 2012, VMware vCenter 5 and PowerShell scripting.
- Experience in operating critical IT infrastructure environments, with mixed operating system and databases (Windows, ESX, MS SQL Server and Oracle technologies) and managing service transition creation and maintenance of technical support documentation
- Good understanding and experience working with ITIL processes, particularly change, incident and problem management
- Experience in maintaining accurate and up-to-date technical, configuration management, inventory and troubleshooting documentation relating to the DAP service
- Experience of network and storage systems, technologies and equipment
