ICT Technical Service Coordinator

Do you have relevant experience in IT Service Management?

Are you passionate about IT and genuinely looking for a challenging environment with a prestigious European client?

If so this may be the position for you: working in a Service environment for a respected international customer, the ideal candidate has experience coordinating IT support services covering System Administration (Windows and Linux platforms), virtualisation (VMware), Storage management (Netapp, EMC, etc.) as well in Network operations and security in a predominately Cisco environment.

Role Responsibility

The position is onsite at the customer’s premises and as such the candidate will be the main customer interface, to capturing ongoing requirements and ensuring that they are excellently managed.
Therefore, in addition to the technical coordination, the candidate must have skills in Service management (a certification in ITIL is needed), including the transformation (from non-service environment) and operations including SLA development and reporting.

Responsibilities

• IT support service coordination (prioritize and organise resources in line with requirements)

• Provide inputs to the Service definition

• Service interface for the customer

• Team management 

• Complaint management

• SLA implementation and management

Successful Candidate

Skills and Experience

• University degree in IT related subject or equivalent experience gained from working environment.

• At least 10 years working experience in IT related roles

• Excellent knowledge of IT support activities (relevant areas explained above)

• Experience implementing and working in Service Environments

• Service Management including resource allocation to meet evolving requirements

• Strong team management and coordination skills

• Excellent Customer Management skills and passionate about improving services

• Ability to communicate fluently in English (including documentation, report writing and meetings), Italian is an advantage

 

• Takes pride in being the 'go to person', establishing your credibility equally with technical peers and non-technical end users
