Engineering Support to Operations

To reinforce our team in Frascati, Italy we are currently looking for a Engineering Support to Operations.

Role Responsibility

Support the Operational ESA Centres to carry out their daily activity
Operational support to TTO impact analysis and relevant implementation
Blocking/Critical anomaly work around solution identification
Components Transfer To Operations support (TTO editing and management)
Software installation
Software AIV activity and operational verification
Data handling for final users availability

Successful Candidate

Techincal skills:
Good knowledge of DMS (KT, Alfresco, SEED DMS)
Good knowledge of PHP, PERL and Python programming
Good knowledge of Java Suite: Java SE, Java EE, JSF, Spring, Primefaces
Good knowledge of C++ Suite: C++, Boost C++ libraries
Good knowledge of Linux (Red Hat, Suse, Ubuntu) and scriptinig
Good knowledge of ESA PDGS and MMFI components
Good knowledge of Databases: MySQL; ORACLE; PostgreSQL; RDBMS; SQL

Personal Skill:
• Fluent in English Language (both written and spoken)
• Good communications skills
• Capacity of working in team
• Capacity of achieving schedule and milestones
• Capacity of working under pressure
• Linux Virtual Machine configuration (Debian, Red Hat)

• 4-5 years of experience in programming and scripting
• 2-3 years of experience in ESA infrastructures 
• 2-3 years of experience in usage of DMS

Preferable:
ITIL V3 Certification
English Certification (≥ B1)
