Role Responsibility
- Realtime monitoring and control of the endtoend dissemination chains;
- Support to testing and verification activities;
- Execution of regular maintenance activities;
- Support to configuration control and support to the definition of the network interfaces;
- Execution of Transfer to Operations of service applications (e.g. DHuS);
- Management of service incidents and anomalies;
- Update of Operational Procedures;
- Linux Shell scripting for operational incidents management;
- Interfacing with other groups (software development teams, Production Unit team, Network and Security team);
- Help desk technical support;
- Extraction of service statistics and generation Operational Reports;
- IT Service Infrastructure housekeeping.
Successful Candidate
- Relational database (No SQL database, e.g., Mongo DB is an asset);
- Database programming language;
- XML/XSD;
- Java;
- Linux O.S. and native shell scripting;
- Knowledge of Earth Observation data products;
- Ability to work in a team and to share and acquire knowledge;
- Proactive problem solving attitude;
- Previous experience of working in cloud virtual environment is an asset+C25;
- Good communications skills in English (spoken, written) and possibly good knowledge of Italian;
- Proactive approach to problem identification and resolution;
- Take full responsibility for the successful conclusion of the activities and success-oriented;
- Availability to travel within Europe to attend meetings.
Preference will be given to employees within "Categoria Protetta (Law 68/99)" or registered in “lista di mobilità”.
